William Michaels Memorial Scholarship

The William Michaels Memorial Scholarship was established in 2008 by the Michaels family.

Bill Michaels was a history instructor at Solano Community College from 1968 until 1992. He served as the division chair of the Social Science Division. He was also a CTA president. Bill served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps. In addition to his teaching career, Bill worked during the summer constructing and remodeling homes and office buildings. Bill was an outstanding teacher and was loved by his students

This scholarship is awarded to a second year student with a history or vocational major.
