Solano District Scout House Scholarship

The Solano District Scout House Scholarship was established in 2008 to honor Scouts living in a school district serving the cities of Vacaville, Dixon, or Winters. Eagle Scouts will receive priority consideration.

The Solano District Scout House was established to monitor and be responsible for funds obtained from the sale of the Cooper School property in Vacaville. Although the old Solano District no longer exists, the ultimate goal was to buy or build a structure to be used for scouting activities. Conditions precluded the attainment of that goal and as an alternative, the Solano District Scout House chose to establish this scholarship to benefit scouts seeking to further their education.
